Short synopsis

Alara is trying to live a normal teen life, but her nights are interrupted by vivid experiences that feel connected to another world and a “mountain heartbeat” presence she can’t explain. When she shares strange symbols linked to her past online, a stranger recognizes them and pushes for an in-person meeting. As the mystery escalates from online clues to real-world danger, Alara is pulled toward a high-stakes attempt to cross realms, ending with her falling into the unknown.

Sam Inzerillo is a coauthor of The Colors of Malent, a YA fantasy umbrella where mystery and wonder collide. Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, he works in software engineering and enjoys reading and writing, rebuilding laptops to donate, and spending time with family and his new granddaughter.
